This policy explains what information MEPCO Bill Check (mepcobillcheckk.pk) handles when you use the site.
Your reference number
When you use the bill checker, your reference number is sent from your browser straight to the official PITC portal to open your bill. We do not receive, log or store it on our server.
If you tick Save Reference Number, the number is saved only in your own browser (local storage) so it is filled in next time. You can remove it by unticking the box or clearing your browser data.
Information collected automatically
- Our hosting server keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and performance.
- We use a caching plugin to make pages load faster.
- If you choose to allow push notifications, OneSignal stores a notification subscription ID for your browser. You can turn notifications off at any time in your browser settings.
Third-party links
The bill checker and some guides link to official sites such as PITC, MEPCO and NEPRA. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
